Selling my brand new, Big Agnes Fly Creek HV UL2 with mtnGLO and BA footprint for $310 shipped. I really like this tent and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with it (it’s brand new and has only been pitched in my yard), but after tons of debate decided to splurge and go with a Duplex for my thru hike.
This tent is literally brand new – has only been pitched in my yard and carried on one backpacking section of the AT (in which I ended up sleeping in shelters). For the weight conscious (which is everyone here)..the MtnGlo lights are really quite lovely and only add 1 oz to the tent. It may be an extra 2 ozs if you decide to carry the two AAA batteries for this, but I you can actually avoid this by using a standard battery pack (Anker and the like-whatever you might take to charge your phone) which plugs right into the lights and can be used to operate. (For those unfamiliar with this technology, it got Backpacker’s Gear of the Year. (https://www.backpacker.com/gear/2015-editors-choice-big-agnes-mtnglo)
$310 shipped including the footprint, which allows for “fast fly” set up (in which you can set up just the rain fly and tarp without the tent body). The footprint alone cost me $50 so I think this is a great deal!
No tears, wear, etc (again, has only been pitched in a nice grassy yard). The color scheme is a little different than the standard Fly Creek (and in my opinion, looks nicer) and can be seen here: http://www.bigagnes.com/Fly-Creek-High-Volume-UL-2-mtnGLOSep 24, 2017 at 8:07 pm #3493011
Photos below. Pitched in my house rather than outside because I’ve been working 7a-7p shifts and haven’t been home during daylight!
(No matter what I do, I can’t seem to get the images oriented correctly, unfortunately.)
