Relatively large EMS pack. This was my first lightweight pack. It saw a few day hikes before I realized that I liked roll tops better and that I wanted a compression system. This is the only negative aspect I ever found on this pack. I care for my gear, and it is in excellent condition. No scuffs, no rips, nothing.
As to other features, I live the wide and flexible shoulder straps, lightly padded. Chest strap. Two mesh pockets on the outside of the pack, without any rips. There is no hydration sleeve or port, but there is a clip inside, so I just hanged the hydration there and run the hose under the lid. It can be stored in the lid pocket.
