Post “like” buttons have now been disabled. We are in the process of lightening up the codebase in preparation for our next site speed optimization phase and bbPress software upgrade. These were originally installed (with dislike buttons) as a mechanism of forum self-moderation. However, since adding in the REPORT feature, the latter has proved to be much more valuable. If there is interest from the community, we will consider restoring the “like” button feature after the bbPress 2.6 upgrade has been completed, if someone files a FEATURE REQUEST and there is sufficient support in response.
