I bought this used to use as a spike tent for hunting, but ended up never using it. Make me an offer (not sure what is a fair price)- will ship anywhere in the US.Apr 26, 2014 at 1:29 pm #2096597

Is it the 9 ft or the 10 ft?Apr 26, 2014 at 4:33 pm #2096650
OK, here's the info. First, let me say that I have never actually set this tent up. Inspecting it closely, it is in excellent condition. Here's the scoop
It does NOT have a floor like many of the models I see online, thus saving 4-6 oz in weight.
Rather, it has a 7" hemmed mosquito mesh around the entire perimeter. It has the beak and mesh door that is standard for this tent.
Weight in silnylon stuff sack: 15.6 oz
Beak: 16" at longest point
Dimensions: 58" wide x 96" long
Mesh dropdown around three sides: 7"
2 mesh pocketsApr 27, 2014 at 4:53 am #2096754
Sounds like it may have been an Ultralight Tacoma Solo Tarp that was customized to 8 ft length with mesh skirt and door added.Apr 27, 2014 at 10:04 am #2096808
jshann/ John S.: Thanks for the information. It was sold to me as a Brawny Ultralight Tarp Tent. I was trying to find the old Dancing Light web site to confirm, but was unable to. I'll leave this up until you respond that you have seen my thanks, then I will repost the item with the correct information. I remeasured the back wall by staking it and pulling tight and it appears to be the 9 foot model.Apr 27, 2014 at 10:31 am #2096822
This thread will be removed once the person who helped correct the information lets me know he's seen my thanks.Apr 27, 2014 at 12:53 pm #2096875
