Does anyone have the tool to put buttons on things and could help install two buttons for me? I don't know the actual name of the tool. EDIT: apparently it's called a snapsetter. Anyways, I want to install buttons on a hat I have so I can use the "cape" from my OR sun hat onto a hat of my choosing. If willing, I could send you my hat I want to put buttons on. Other than paying for postage, I'll send you a free hat, too! (It's from the land conservancy I work at).

I think you want a snap setter. Theirs pliers type and anvil type (where you it a tool with a hammer with the snap setting on a metal disc)

Snaps or press-studs can be sewn on as well. Manual labour, but no cost.

    Cheers

    Would velcro work better?
