Nixon: I'm not a crook
Bush 43: Mission Accomplished
JFK: Ask not what your Country can do …..
Clinton: I did not have sex with that women
Truman: The buck stops here
vote for one
I didn't know about it until I read it in the press
We will use all the resources of the US government to get the bottom of itOct 29, 2013 at 12:27 pm #2039114
Obama: Obamacare – remains to be seen whether that's a good thing or a bad thing
JFK: Bay of Pigs maybe? Cuben missle crisis? of course – DallasOct 29, 2013 at 12:47 pm #2039119
I (we) will not rest until… pick one. Economy, Benghazzi, The Federal Government Insurance Free Market Exchange Web Site, IRS, NSA… It's a long list, he must be tired.
I figured Bush would get hammered for the WMDs. I guess I should have given it more time. Even some of the Bush haters I know are softening their stance, now.Oct 29, 2013 at 12:56 pm #2039123
"W" would have to be starting two wars without any quick ending, but "Mission Accomplished" is short for that
When you say "Benghazzi" it has to be said in a low, sinister voice, like Cheney's for exampleOct 29, 2013 at 1:49 pm #2039139
Jerry, don't get me started on Benghazzi please.
"starting two wars without any quick ending"
Would you have been in favor of just one?Oct 29, 2013 at 2:39 pm #2039151
Let's talk about the World Trade Center and the Pentagon (while reading to kids) first. Oh, how about the Marine Corp in Lebanon? Then we can talk about Benghazzi…Oct 29, 2013 at 3:13 pm #2039163
Why is it when ever Obama gets challenged some one comes to the rescue with a Bush example.
I was just watching a clip of Chris Matthews wondering why no one was sent to rescue the Ambassador and his support team.Oct 29, 2013 at 4:04 pm #2039182
I don't believe you
If you had really watched Chris Matthews your head would have exploded and you wouldn't be able to make posts anymoreOct 29, 2013 at 5:36 pm #2039217
"I don't believe you … If you had really watched Chris Matthews your head would have exploded and you wouldn't be able to make posts anymore"
That's a pretty ignorant thing to say.Oct 29, 2013 at 6:12 pm #2039240
They also had a pretty revealing segment on Benghazi . The Deputy Ambassador, Greg Hicks was working on his 3rd request for more security. A former Green Beret said the 3 mortar rounds that landed on the roof at night was like making a backwards basketball shot. He said it was done by a well trained, well informed, well rehearsed military force.
At the end Hicks spoke about learning no one was coming and told the reporter.
"For the people who go out on the edge for the Country, they believe if we get in trouble, they're coming to get us, that our back is covered. To hear that it's not, it's a terrible, terrible experience."
Bush was reading a book to children during 9/11. Obama was campaigning and raising money during the attack on Benghazi.Oct 29, 2013 at 6:20 pm #2039242
okay, I looked at that link
Mathews is usually fairly supportive of Obama because Obama is usually worh supporting, especially compared to alternatives and given the situtation he's in
And he's also critical sometimes – typical MSNBC – fairly objective
Makes sense to me, they should have sent in help immediately. If it's all over by the time they get there, fine, but you don't know. Obama, Hillary, and their underlings deserve criticism.
Did you see that 60 Minutes piece last Sunday? That whole deal was really terrible and we should learn what lessons we can from it.
If someone is willing to serve in a place like Bengazzi, we should "have their back".
But, it surprises me that Ken would ever listen to Chris under any condition, because it would cause Ken's head to explode even just thinking about watch MSNBC.
Oh, I don't think Ken listened to Cris, he just got that link from some right wing source and passed it on : )Oct 29, 2013 at 6:35 pm #2039244

Some actually listen to more than just their own side..Oct 29, 2013 at 7:57 pm #2039264
and do you think Ken was really actually watching Chris and just happened to see that?
or did he hear about it from some right wing source?Oct 30, 2013 at 9:42 am #2039430

mainstream media has been running stories about the 2,000,000+ people that have lost their policy, which Obama said wouldn't happen
but then they say it's because they don't meet minimum standards, new policies will be better, many people will get subsidy or tax credit so it doesn't cost more
The Republicans say things like "why would a 55 year old male need maternity care?"Oct 30, 2013 at 10:59 am #2039466
"Let's talk about the World Trade Center and the Pentagon (while reading to kids) first. Oh, how about the Marine Corp in Lebanon? Then we can talk about Benghazzi…"
Well Tim, what's wrong with reading to kids? And… Why not throw in Pearl Harbor? WTF?Oct 30, 2013 at 11:07 am #2039471
" many people will get subsidy or tax credit so it doesn't cost more".
Jerry, where do you think subsidy money comes from? If you would, just a simple answer.Oct 31, 2013 at 5:29 pm #2039941
Fred — the tea party seems to think history started with Obama. I never heard a peep from them when Bush took us to surplus to deficit. And now Benghazzi as something major? Seriously, this is just another presidential screw-up in a long line of screw-ups by every president. Nothing new. You want to think it is a big deal, fine. I just don't see it like that.
Not the same as Pearl Harbor or Gulf of Tonkin, which were used to get us into a war.Oct 31, 2013 at 5:31 pm #2039942
How about the best president of all — Teddy! Gave us the national parks.Oct 31, 2013 at 9:19 pm #2039992

Focus on the negatives much Ken?
I am fully aware of the irony of that statement.Oct 31, 2013 at 10:18 pm #2040003
How about the best president of all — Teddy! Gave us the national parks."
Also, Teddy was the only President to have a Bigfoot encounter on his travels (for real, look it up).Nov 1, 2013 at 2:26 am #2040028

Obama: "Energy prices will necessarily skyrocket"
Has to be a strong contender.Nov 1, 2013 at 7:38 am #2040067
"- the tea party seems to think …"
You guys are killing me ( not literally, humor) with all the tea party references. They swing a bigger loop than I thought. I'm guessing you've never been to a tea party meeting either.Nov 1, 2013 at 8:59 am #2040090

He really did set the stage for preserving our natural treasures. Lots of foresight and being an outdoorsman himself provided leadership.
Makes you wonder if he could be elected today. He was a pretty masculine personality, not endearing to those who prefer men be more gender neutral.
Just envisioning how he would have handled Code Pink and PETA trying to disrupt his speeches.
