Went to Northern California. Saw some lakes and sh!t. Hammocks rock.
This is the best trail meal I've made, by far. Soba, dashi in a squeeze bottle, sesame seeds, Trader Joe's dried kimchee, nori and some fresh wasabi from Libby's afternoon sushi at the trail head. Soba cooks quickly and it was insanely good sitting next to Snowslide Lake in the bright afternoon sun with occasional rumbles of thunder from the sparse but roiling clouds.
