Hey guys! Just cleaning out the closet at last today. All prices will include shipping to
CONUS, unless otherwise noted. You're also welcome to make an offer on a
combination of these items, and we can work something out. In fact, bundling is
encouraged, because I would love to get rid of all of this stuff.

Big ticket / interesting items
1) Patagonia Lightweight Sun Hoody – men's medium, light blue – $35
Good used condition. Couple of small picks in the fabric, and used for 1 or 2 trips. No particular odor. Good shape overall. This is a reliable medium, but roomy compared to your usual lightweight base layer. Aka, I usually wear a medium, and this is a medium, and it fits me fine but is a little more spacious and breezy than, say, my medium Ibex Indy.
3) Backcountry Boiler – hard anodized – $75
This version was from Devin's kickstarter run 1-2 years ago.
Though I believe he's made some slight improvements to the product since
then, this item should match the current edition in all useful dimensions, and should also
fit all the accessories he sells for these. I really wanted to like this boiler. I think
the design is fantastic, and it looks, feels, and behaves like a premium product. The
trouble is, I don't JUST do freezerbag-cooking exclusively, and so the utility of this
item is limited for me. Too bad! Now I get to sell it at a loss.
As I said — this is the hard-anodized version so it's virtually un-scratchable. It has
the Boiler logo etched into the top, as well as my name IAN S — hope you don't mind that.
Also comes with the convertible softshell sleeve / gripper, and attached silicone stopper
cap. This boiler has been used about 5 times in the field, and has performed admirably.
Aside from the black staining that comes from even one use with a wood stove,
there is no wear and tear on this item.
6) Montane Lite-Speed H2O jacket – neon yellow – men's UK large / USA medium – $40
this for commuting, hence the bright color. Used 1-2 times, in perfect condition. Note
this is a UK size large, but fits closer to a men's medium. I'm 5'6" 150# and this fits
well but with some room for a mid-layer underneath. Here's the rather encouraging
BPL review of the Lite-Speed H2O's hoodless cousin:
Note this version has: – double storm flap full zipper (but no velcro unlike the BPL
review) – elastic / drawcord hem – elastic cuffs – reflective pieces – hood with 1-way
drawcord adjustment, and roll-away velcro collar
7) Altra Adam minimal running shoes – black/gray US 8.5 – $25
Totally unused. Interesting
concept but by the time I wear out my other minimal running shoes, there will
probably be something better on the market. Reviews here:
These could be great for a light and durable "camp shoe", or for walking / running
training in the barefoot style. Good for your feet!
Odds n ends – add on pieces – etc.
1) Tiny measuring cups (plus one tiny funnel) – free
Just like the kind that come with alcohol stoves such as those from
TrailDesigns. They each hold 30mL / 1 fl oz / 8 drams. I've got 3 measuring cups, and one
funnel. Will be happy to throw these into any order.
2) Trash compactor bags (2) – free
Good sized and well-suited as a durable pack liner, for
wetter climates than I ever encounter. Free at your request.

So there was a mad rush on the REI Ti-ware mug. I had no idea such an item was so coveted.
Since demand is far above supply, and I want to make as few trips to the post office as possible, I propose this:
1) Price of Ti-ware mug now raised to $10.
2) Whoever submits an offer that bundles the Ti-ware mug with the most number of other items wins the right to it.
Yeah, normally I play by the rules of this forum but since I have so many items for sale, I'm going to tweak the rules a bit. Hope the above is clear. Let your offers continue. Thanks everyone!Apr 14, 2013 at 12:27 pm #1976508

what condition are the vivos in? Also, how much would it be to ship them to AK?Apr 15, 2013 at 8:29 am #1976788
Sorry for not mentioning this in the OP. The Ultras are in good used condition — worn outside only on manicured grass or concrete for 2-3 days. No noticeable wear, just a tiny amount of dirt and dust on the outsoles. Not quite good enough condition for a refund from the vendor, but in all other respects they are like-new.
Shipping to AK will be a bit more expensive so I'd want to add in a $5 charge for that. If you're still interested, send me an email at SNS426 [AT] GMAIL [DOT] COM.
Thanks!Apr 15, 2013 at 8:38 am #1976789

I bought the vivos last night.
Ian, it occurred to me the hilarity of your statement that you have too many shoes, given that your last name is "Schumann". =DApr 18, 2013 at 5:53 am #1977941
Haha, yes Dan that's true. You're probly in the top 100 people to ever make that joke about me :-)
Post updated again, still some decent deals remaining. Will entertain reasonable offers.
