Jacket above totally eliminates the backpack and allows one to carry 22 lbs in his/her coat or dress.
Oct 30, 2012 at 7:02 pm #1925496Should appeal to women craving for the pear shape look.
Oct 30, 2012 at 7:18 pm #1925501That is good stuff. You automatically look like a shop-lifter with this on.
Oct 30, 2012 at 9:18 pm #1925522Would work better. Dumbest idea ever.

Here is a good point that has been overlooked :
Ever been in the situation when suddenly you can't remember if you packed your tent or mat ?
Well, with the jaktogo you can feel the content of your "pack" every step of the way
(kind of neat for the compulsive disorder types)BTW, "clever" people buy stuff like this so you can include me out.
(edited to add photo)Oct 31, 2012 at 3:21 am #1925547Airport security should be interesting for the Jaktogo wearing traveller.
Oct 31, 2012 at 4:24 am #1925553Interesting concept, actually. I had thought of using a web harness, similar to military gear, to support a pack load by distributing the load across your front and back. This does similar…
The primary drawback was that it encloses your entire torso with gear, making it hot to carry. I tried this with an old fishing vest a couple times. I am not sure which weighed more, the vest or the sweat from hiking.
Oct 31, 2012 at 4:37 am #1925555What I had read about this was the "inventor" was tired of paying luggage fees.
So he "invented" a jacket with a lot of pockets.
But it also turns into a small duffel bag, thats the invention part I guess.Between your personal item and carry on, if you cant carry what you need for a week or more, you are taking way too much. Learn to be a UL traveler.
