I am a bigger and taller guy and was looking to have someone I know make a poncho/tarp for me out of 1.1 silnylon. The widest I could find was 65" wide for $10.95/yd at lightheartgear and some seconds of the same width at Quest Outfitters for $6.70/yd. Is there anything out there that is wider?

…you can get some 72" wide 1.1 ripstop from DIY Gear Supply but you'd have to make your own silicone coating to finish

Maybe use a seam in the lower back where it would be a big leakage issue, and use the length rather than the width of the fabric for side to side roomyness?
