Looking to buy a pair of Large WM Flash booties in black or cranberry. I keep checking dealers and no one seems to have any.
Anyone have a pair gathering dust?

There are some cottage alternatives if you can't find the WM ones online. This one comes to mind, but I think there are others:Aug 8, 2011 at 9:17 pm #1767377
Purchased these with extra down and it was worth it. Don't go up in size if you don't need to, they are accurate in size. Very warm and not as pricey as other quality down booties. They have many color options, too.Aug 9, 2011 at 10:42 am #1767486

I have the Feathered Friends. They have more fill and a superb shell booty.
Goosefeet is another cottage option.Aug 9, 2011 at 11:02 am #1767491

Thanks for the comments. Those with the inner sock / outer bootie combination – do you get moisture build up or anything inside the outer bootie?
Or is it manageable just to turn them inside out for a quick dry out?
PS: Are the Feathered Friends true to size? I will be in Seattle next month and could find the store (I think) if necessary. I wear a normal width size 10 so I was thinking a large should fit fine.Aug 18, 2011 at 7:14 am #1770658
How long does arrowhead usually take to ship the Flamethrower socks? I have a week long trip the first week of September and would like to have them before then.Aug 18, 2011 at 8:27 am #1770681Aug 18, 2011 at 2:52 pm #1770826

If you are interested I have a pair of Western Mountaineering Flash Booties, cranberry in sz. large. I have never used them. I bought them last March specifically for a spring skiing backcountry trip. We ended up skiing into a yurt instead of camping out, so I never even put them on my feet.
I'll shoot them to you for $40 and I'll pay shipping. Let me know if you have any questions or need pics.

If Carl has already found a pair, or bought something else, I will take them.

Still looking. Thanks.
