I'm looking at doing one or the other as a two-day trip with my sons. It appears to me that neither is terribly strenuous or technical and are about the same length if you add in one of the lookouts from the East Rim. From what I've read here and elsewhere it looks like the consensus is that the West Rim is more interesting. Anyone care to disagree or confirm? Any other thoughts? Much appreciated.
