$350.00 plus shipping. Continental US ONLY. Paypal ONLY. Buyer to pay Paypal fees.
White Cloud, 1995
Totally stripped of all extraneous and unnecessary features. Even the thread for the word "KELTY" has been taken off, but the logo remains. Weight went from 3.2 lbs to 2.10 lbs.(volume remained the same at 3960-4355!). This is a totally bomb-proof AND ultralight high capacity pack. Size LARGE (18-24 inch torsos). This might be your only chance to pick up a full Spectra Classic Kelty Cloud pack this cheap. Original retail was over $700.00 (in 1995).
WHITE CLOUD SPECS:
High alpine ascents and descents. The Cloud was lighter and smaller in capacity than the Phantom for 1995. The same Spectra fabric (pound for pound five times stronger than Kevlar) gives it the same strength and durability. It's a perfect size for skiing trips and super alpine ascents.
Color: White with gold webbing
Lg: 2 lb, 10 oz (stripped)–3.2 originally.
Lg: 3960-4355 cu in
7001-T6 aircraft aluminum stays and HDPE suspension panel
CobraCut shoulder straps anatomically distribute the load
Load lifter, side stabilizer, and sternum straps provide stability and freedom
Conical waist belt distributes weight comfortably, but doesn't get in the way of a harness
Two quick release ice axe holders positioned so you can get your axe while wearing the pack
Clip loops on shoulder and belt straps
Dual ice tool holsters on lower sides can also carry crevasse rescue gear
Rope lashing and compression strapsApr 17, 2011 at 11:05 am #1725617

Seems expensive for a 16yr old packApr 17, 2011 at 12:28 pm #1725651
I disagree. You have to remember that it is a full Spectra pack that originally sold for over $700.00. Spectra is hard to come by these days because the military is buying up every last bit of it. This is like comparing a Ford Focus to a Maserati…the Maserati will have a much higher resale value even when it's older. Check the prices of other full Spectra packs from McHale or CiloGear:
Spectra is hard to work with, also, so the price is higher for the packs:
All in all, i believe that the price i am asking is reasonable. I will definately consider offers and trade/cash deals.

Yes, regarding the price this is quite acceptable. Spectra is spectra and Kelty is a respected pack company.Apr 20, 2011 at 11:32 pm #1727375

Maybe cast a wider net — outside continental US? You're shutting out potential buyers from Canada, Europe, Asia, etc. You never know…Apr 21, 2011 at 12:09 am #1727383
I'm interested, even without all the modular attachments. PM me, please.Apr 21, 2011 at 2:04 pm #1727627

Thats a reasonable price and there are not many of these that go up for sale.Apr 21, 2011 at 7:11 pm #1727764
I'll post some of what I posted to them privately.
They are rare, but this has been greatly modified and is missing all the modular packs that made this a versatile system. It's now basically a Spectra rucksack, which is a very different thing than it was stock. It would probably be better suited for climbing now than for backpacking, but that's obviously a subjective thing that could possibly play into its new value. The value isn't as simple as it was before alteration and the present incompleteness. I could tell you what the last Kelty Spectra 6500 sold for on eBay (February of 2011), and it was complete and unaltered. It wouldn't be fair to compare the two packs, though. They're completely different at this point. However, how else would the market be able to place a "fair" or "good" price on this pack?Apr 22, 2011 at 7:21 am #1727897
Still for sale, and on Ben's advice (not sure that's a good thing:), the pack is now open to INTERNATIONAL buyers. Buyer to pay for shipping.

Bump for Easter. $300.00 shipped continental US? $300.00 plus shipping overseas?
Trades?Jan 26, 2012 at 11:21 am #1830010
I realize the date on your post, but is this pack still for sale ?
I am in the market for a good winter pack, and the Cloud fits the bill.
