    @xnomanx

    What's lightest out there today?
    One criteria, the top has to have a hood.

    Thanks.

    Maybe Camp Magic Anorak for top.

    Yeah, I've been looking at the Tachyon combo and the Camp Magic combo…I think I'll be going with the Tachyon/Dynamo combo based on the reviews here.

    Thanks folks.

    though I'm not generally one to pitch North Face, their Verto is a full-zip hooded shell @ ~3oz. not sure about the accuracy of the scale I used, but weighed a medium at under 3 oz.

    @xnomanx

    I ordered from backcountrygear.com on Sunday night and received these today (Fast!!)

    PERFECTION!!!!! EXACTLY what I was looking for.

    I'm really blown away by what a good combo they are; perfect fit, the hood on the anorak is excellent, both are super minimal and crazy light.
    Packed down, they both are only a little bigger than a tennis ball and weigh 5.8 oz. in XL, including stuff sack.

    I'm crossing J-Tree solo tomorrow, can't wait to use them.

    Thanks for mentioning them in the posts above; I forgot BPL reviewed them.
