This Rain fly replaces the stock fly on a number of Hennessy models including the Hyperlight Backpacker. It has a zipper that converts it to a rain cape.

The zipper adds 3/4 oz. but this is deceptive as the cape displaces rain jackets and/or ponchos. I bought one as soon as it came out. My pack is 11oz. lighter as a result.

I've had a couple of rainy hikes since and was completely satisfied. It covered me and my pack and kept us both dry.

Just remember, it's a cape, not a poncho so you need to wear the appropriate headgear; namely, a broad-brimmed hat. This wasn't a problem for me because that's my preferred style.
