I have a size medium 2008 Miniposa (with medium hip-belt)- Never used and in perfect condition. I bought this for my son who outgrew it before he could use it. It still has all elastic and cord locks in pristine condition. This version has the two carbon fiber stays (removable). The 2009/2010 version has no stays nor the capability to add them. So, this may make this pack more versatile than the new ones. Also, you can ask GG to add the new u-shaped aluminum stay as a retro-fit for $24.00. I did this with my size large GG Miniposa and it works great. This pack is now on sale for $125. I think I paid $135 for it. Just so it gets used, I'll let it go for $90 shipped via USPS CONUS. Includes sit-light pad….SOLD!

Are the carbon stays straight or curved for a more comfortable fit?

The stays are straight, but like I said, you can have the pack retrofitted with the one piece curved aluminum stay or take the carbon fiber stays out (as GG has done with the newer version).Feb 4, 2010 at 12:18 pm #1569782Feb 6, 2010 at 10:20 am #1570434Feb 10, 2010 at 10:50 am #1572200Feb 10, 2010 at 12:43 pm #1572231

What is current asking price? How much does the pack weigh? What is the size of the hip belt? I have a 19" torso, do think the medium will work for me?

Pack weighs 14.5 oz. plus minor weight of shoulder and hip-belt pads, call it 1 pound.
Size medium fits 16-20 inch torsos.
Medium belt fits 30-35 inch waists (including clothes, of course).

Good deal. Adding the stay is awesome. If I didn't have a new gorilla, I'd be all over this.Feb 14, 2010 at 10:01 pm #1573915
