    If you go to ula-equipment.com and click on the Idaho icon in the lower righthand corner, you'll find his blog of his trip this summer. He mentioned he was trying out 3 different prototype packs on his trip.

    No mention of optional stays on the website. It shouldn't need them for the 20-30 pound design range. The following is fromthe ULA website, Conduit page.
