Evernew Slick Non-Stick Titanium Pot – 4 Liter
This thing is big. I work for an outdoor school and guide services. I purchased this thing specifically for month long field work. I use it in mountaineering situations in alaska, melting snow for water for a team of four. It’s still doin’ well after about 7 years of hard camping. The weird thing is, it came with a steel handle! I cut it off and replaced it with a thin little wire. The wire goes over the top – like a bucket. Anyone really concerned about weight should do the same.
I have put this thru the ringer. And it’s gotten a little dented, and because of that, the titanium lid no longer fits, so it’s useless! (the lid is a poor design) I now use a thin pie plate with a rock.
I sound like I’m complaining, but this is the ONLY big titanium pot available. I wish MSR (with their superior lid design) made a bigger pot.
It cleans really well. A real plus for titanium.
My rating concerns? Big, good! Design, mediocre.
peace,
M! -
