Hey,

So it's been a while since I have post to BPL – quite a while – but grad school happens… yadda yadda yadda.

So my wife and I are leaving on Monday for a cross-country road trip from Knoxville to somewhere around Seattle/Astoria and "ending" in Redwood Nat'l Park – last "summer" for the rest of our lives kinda thing.

We will be stopping in either Bozeman or Missoula and hope to spend a day there on the water. I am fairly new to fly fishing and am hoping to get some feedback on smaller, fairly accessible streams around those areas.

I have a 4-piece, 8'6'", 4/5 weight rod if that helps.

Tips? Fly suggestions? Packing list?

We will be in the area Thurs, Fri, and Sat.
