    @endeavor

    Kind of cool looking, sort of like a Nemo, but yet different.

    Weight: 3.2kg (7 lbs!)

    Is this a typo? If not, what a joke of an over-engineered tent.

    Yeah 7.07 lbs and that doesn't include a pump. You can add one here for 2 lbs:

    Ah, but it's multi-use.

    It doubles as a bouncy castle.

    Kind of funny that a tent supported by air would weigh more than a tent supported by poles.

    I can't quite put my finger on it, but this tent structure design reminds me of another innovative design from the automobile industry…

    I wonder how much of a breeze it would take to collapse those tubes?

    I love the picture of it on the beach, with the majestic coastline. Looks a tad photoshoped.

    The tubes are probably similar to the tubes on kitesurfing kites. There is a bladder inside that make them air tight. The bladder can get leaks, but is easy to replace. No worries about high wind, they can be very stiff.

    'more artistic' is about the only asset it has imho.

    It's not just those Europeans who make things look artistic. And heavy. Those Americans ain't half bad, either… and even take it a step further by making it really only "art"!

    Take a gander at the size of that surfboard. And then try guessing just how heavy this thing is.

    It is a small weight penalty sacrifice for beauty. The tent would look majestic in the Beartooths up by Desolation Lake, above timberline!
