Kind of cool looking, sort of like a Nemo, but yet different.
The Wedge
Those Europeans make things look more artistic.Mar 23, 2014 at 11:13 pm #2085601Weight: 3.2kg (7 lbs!)
Is this a typo? If not, what a joke of an over-engineered tent.
Mar 24, 2014 at 8:15 am #2085640Yeah 7.07 lbs and that doesn't include a pump. You can add one here for 2 lbs:

It doubles as a bouncy castle.
Mar 24, 2014 at 10:38 am #2085684Kind of funny that a tent supported by air would weigh more than a tent supported by poles.
Mar 24, 2014 at 12:13 pm #2085722I can't quite put my finger on it, but this tent structure design reminds me of another innovative design from the automobile industry…
Mar 24, 2014 at 12:53 pm #2085738I wonder how much of a breeze it would take to collapse those tubes?
Mar 24, 2014 at 1:11 pm #2085743"It doubles as a bouncy castle."
Dang it you beat me to the punch!
Mar 24, 2014 at 2:44 pm #2085770I love the picture of it on the beach, with the majestic coastline. Looks a tad photoshoped.
The tubes are probably similar to the tubes on kitesurfing kites. There is a bladder inside that make them air tight. The bladder can get leaks, but is easy to replace. No worries about high wind, they can be very stiff.

Mar 24, 2014 at 10:53 pm #2085902'more artistic' is about the only asset it has imho.
Cheers
Mar 25, 2014 at 12:42 am #2085918It's not just those Europeans who make things look artistic. And heavy. Those Americans ain't half bad, either… and even take it a step further by making it really only "art"!
Reef Inflatable Surf Tent Concept
Take a gander at the size of that surfboard. And then try guessing just how heavy this thing is.
Mar 25, 2014 at 7:35 pm #2086181It is a small weight penalty sacrifice for beauty. The tent would look majestic in the Beartooths up by Desolation Lake, above timberline!
Mar 25, 2014 at 8:32 pm #2086201Try "Wedging" that 7 pound beast in your pack!
Mar 25, 2014 at 8:56 pm #2086206That's what pack horses are for. :-)
Mar 28, 2014 at 9:26 pm #2087279People carry 7 lb tents all the time.
