Does anyone know the length of this spork? I emailed the company, but haven't heard back…
Jul 23, 2007 at 4:06 pm #1396260It looks essentially identical to the REI Ti Ware and the Brunton My-Ti folding sporks, both of which are listed at 6.5". I suspect it's just another re-branding of the same model.
-MarkJul 23, 2007 at 6:40 pm #1396265Looks like it. Thanks!
Jul 24, 2007 at 5:16 am #1396304I just bought the spoon version.
same item – different brand.
All pumped out of the same factory I'd guess.
160mm opened – 92mm folded.Jul 24, 2007 at 5:59 am #1396307All produced by the Shanghai Kingsound Titanium Tech Company, I believe.
A good range of their products is available in the UK from http://www.ultralightoutdoorgear.co.uk – cheaper postage for Uk/Europe!Jul 24, 2007 at 6:50 am #1396312Thanks, everyone. For those who have used these sporks or spoons, how's the quality? Would you recommend these folding utensils or the straightforward, non-bendable ones instead?
Jul 24, 2007 at 6:56 am #1396313They look like a pain in the neck to clean. Are they?
Jul 24, 2007 at 6:58 am #1396314I think that they are quite good quality – no problems so far, anyway.
Although heavier than a Lexan equivalent, I find it really convenient to be able to store both stove and utensil inside a 500ml pot.Edit: And fairly easy to clean as well.
Jul 24, 2007 at 8:01 am #1396327Thanks, Neil. I'm going to order one.
Jul 24, 2007 at 9:14 am #1396334Ditto, I just ordered one along with the Brasslite 600 both are on sale, so I basically just got free shipping…
