REI used to sell some trekking poles that had an aluminum bottom section with the mid and top sections aluminum. Judging from all the nicks and scrapes on the bottom sections of most people's poles that seemed to me a smart design.
So I'm looking for some light weight carbo poles with an aluminum bottom sections and cam locks as I don't like to fiddle with the twist locks that I find to be less dependable. Anyone know of poles that fit that description?
thanks
