If anyone is looking for a partner for regular backcountry hikes in the Smokies, I'm your guy. I live in Montgomery and head up to the mountains whenever I can for weekend or long weekend trips. I go light and usually put in at least 10 miles per day, sometimes as much as 15-18.

We have a couple UL'ers doing an overnight trip the weekend of July 20. Probably fall off Clingmans Dome on the NC side and loop back up. Should be in the 25-30 mile range. I will shoot you a PM.
