Yes, I had a Brownie box camera. Bob G probably had a Speed Graflex 4×5.
Aug 20, 2013 at 10:22 pm #2017173I got a 6-digit number in 1972, lost it during a move, got a new 6-digit number around 1980 (7nnnnn). Found the old number several years later, but REI had purged it, so I couldn't use it.
Never realized that low REI numbers would become a kind of merit badge!
