May 9, 2013 at 7:55 am #1984764No, it is just at the Seattle store.
May 9, 2013 at 8:14 am #1984770Thanks John, this sale has been good to me in the past.
May 9, 2013 at 10:13 am #1984805Thanks for that heads up! Will totally check it out.
May 9, 2013 at 11:22 am #1984824I just called them up and they said "no" to your question. The sale will only be at the retail store here in Seattle…..no on-line sale.
I just noticed Anna covered your question………………….

Thank you for checking. Too bad for us not in the PNW.

I went yesterday morning and it was a test of resisting temptation! The sun was out and there were folk swarming over the bargains like bees with Visa cards. I knocked down two old ladies and got away with a Panorama rain shell for $62.50. That's the one with the pit zips that go all the way to the hem, so you can run your waist belt under and vent the sides like a poncho. It's the older model with the Pertex Shield fabric. That takes care of my rain gear stable (and my wallet).
There were racks full of $250 down jackets at 50% off and other sirens of the gear world. No Versaliner gloves {sniffle} and not many Seattle Sombreros. Most of the stuff in the store is 20% off too.
Standing in line, I could hear the clerks announcing the totals. My thumbnail guesstimate of the average sale is about $250.
I wonder if they put everything out the first day? {{{{{{{{{shudder}}}}}}}}
May 17, 2013 at 12:16 pm #1987084Dale I was there at 2:30 and stuff seem to be picked over- still some bargains but nothing I needed, though I did buy a couple of dry bags that were cheaper than I could make them for.
Most of the Jackets and men's stuff left were size "M", to small for me.
I think in years past the deals were better but with less stuff available.There was more of women's the stuff, but I couldn't get it to fit.
