My worst experiences have been with Sil-nylon. Same basic design but too many other variables for me to track.

I just finished some exhaustive umbrella tests and came to the conclusion that white polyester offers better rain protection than black nylon.
Apr 14, 2013 at 3:32 pm #1976569Hi John, different shelters though. The Hexamid is pitched high, while the Six Moons is pitched very low. The Wild Oasis has perimeter mesh which also blocks ventilation.
