    I'm fairly happy with this. I've dropped around 2 lbs from last summer's gear list. I will easily be under 20 LBS for a three day jaunt, not too bad.

    If you are happy, that's what counts. You have 3-4 lbs you could save in your big 3 shelter/sleep/backpack but that gets pricey. But if you focus on just one, Shelter, you have huge weight saving opportunity (almost 2lbs). 16oz is plenty for a good 1-2 person shelter (Hexamid Twin). Even less if you go with a Tarp. But I am sure you already know that.
