Had a chance a few weeks back to hike the Hermit Trail in Grand Canyon National Park with a local hiking group. It just so happened that there was a giant 3 day snowstorm on the weekend we picked, so the weather was "interesting," from wind-driven snow at the rim, through sleet, hail and rain as we descended, to great weather at the bottom. In the end the weather just made the whole thing more epic and fun IMO. A video can be viewed here:
