Hi everyone – I've read all about Alpacka rafts, but I wonder if any of you have any ideas about lighter craft purely for fishing purposes – mainly for accessing spots away from shore on calm lakes. 4 lbs seems excessive, but the Curtis Designs packraft, at 20 oz, isn't made anymore. Has anyone just used a cheapie pool-toy type boat for this type of purpose? A 700-dollar river-running boat is extreme overkill for my purposes, and the 3.5 pound Sevy Trail boat isn't much better. Thought I'd see what the ingenious people at BPL have come up with…
