I experimented with aluminum pack frames for about 10 years before turning to carbon fiber. So what to do with the Jansport (and other) tubing that I was experimenting with?
I commissioned my niece to use some of the tubing in a sculpture several years ago. It now sits in my backyard.

I love it!
