Just announced 28mm equiv 2.8 fixed lens APS-C (DX) 16MP Sensor from the D7000,14-bit Raw files, with no anti-moire filter.
299g with battery.
111 x 64 x 40 mm
RRP $1100, £1000.
An optical viewfinder is available, but has an RRP of $450!
Spendy but should have a good image quality to weight ratio…

Everything old is new again.
Mar 6, 2013 at 12:23 pm #1962199I really like the look of this one. Shame it doesn't have a viewfinder like the X100, but the sensor size and everything else looks perfect. I currently use an Olympus E-P3 with a 12mm f2 lens as my backpacking camera, and while it produces great images, I do find it a little bit too big with the lens, as I can't fit it in a pocket etc. Cameras are slowly moving to the ideal of being tiny, but having most of the features & IQ of a SLR.
