Has anyone noticed a major difference in durability between wool and fleece liner gloves? I'm thinking along the lines of wear and fraying on the palms from using trekking poles.

Cheers

Feb 16, 2013 at 8:02 pm #1955116Synthetic is going to much more durable than thin wool. I have a pair of wool gloves as my main hiking gloves, but I chose fingerless. The fingers are the first thing to bust out. The palms don't wear out very fast.
