Apparently will never get a hole:
Oct 16, 2012 at 4:03 pm #1921884I expected it to be a lot more expensive than $15 a pair.
Oct 16, 2012 at 6:36 pm #1921945Performance bike sells socks with kevlar heel and toe.
Oct 16, 2012 at 10:39 pm #1922030I bought heavy wool hiking socks from Cabala's for winter use only. They have Kevlar reinforced heels and toes with ball of the foot reinforcement and I STILL have them.
Amazing! Wish they still sold them.
Oct 16, 2012 at 11:07 pm #1922040They sound horribly uncomfortable!
Cheers
Oct 17, 2012 at 7:08 am #1922099The kevlar is only at the toe.
What is "carbon threading"?
I bet they smell to high heaven after a hike.
"Inspired by the Milan fashion scene". I'll pass. (But the Cat in the Hat wants a pair;-)
Oct 17, 2012 at 9:24 am #1922131I have worn Nomex (Kevlar's kin) long johns and they were not smelly like polyester and were as soft as cotton. If the kevlar was made from the softer versions, it would likely
be fine. -
