Hey Everyone,
As you all know, finding Tyvek in pre-cut sheets that doesn't have the obnoxious Red and Blue TYVEK Logo blazed all over one side is pretty hard to find. So I did some research and found that I can buy a lighter weight 1.25oz sq yard version (Hard Structure Type) in 60" wide rolls that is (.60oz sq yard (34%) lighter) then the House Wrap version and is logo free on both sides.. That said I am thinking of selling pre-cut sheets in 24" x 78", 36" x 84", 60" x 96", and for longer tunnel type tents 60" x 120" and 60" x 160"
The introductory prices and weights are as follows..
$8.00 30" x 84" (2.43oz)
$15.00 60" x 96" (5.55oz)
$20.00 60" x 120" (6.94oz)
$25.00 60" x 160" (9.25oz)I am placing an order for the bulk rolls in the next few days and want to make sure I buy/make enough sheets, so who is interested? And in what sizes?
Thanks,
LawsonOct 15, 2012 at 6:18 pm #1921593I would be interested in the $15.00 60" x 96" (5.55oz) and will buy one when you get them in stock :)
Oct 15, 2012 at 6:22 pm #1921594I will most likely purchase all three sizes eventually. Either of the smaller ones first. Prices seem reasonable. I would even pay more if you pre-installed grommets to stake them down.
Oct 15, 2012 at 6:42 pm #1921602Lawson,
I could go for one in this size: $10.00 36" x 84" (2.91oz)

Oct 15, 2012 at 7:18 pm #1921614Hello
I will try the 24" option.
Thanks Jim
Oct 15, 2012 at 7:19 pm #1921616I could use a few of the 36"X84" sections for back up ground sheets for our hammocks.
Oct 15, 2012 at 7:25 pm #1921620I would be interested in the 60 x 96 and grommets if possible too.
Oct 15, 2012 at 7:32 pm #1921623$10.00 36" x 84" (2.91oz)
$15.00 60" x 96" (5.55oz)these will work for me
Regards,
JohnOct 15, 2012 at 7:33 pm #1921624I'd definitely purchase two of the smaller size, and one each of the other two.
Oct 15, 2012 at 7:38 pm #1921625I would take one of the large ones
Oct 15, 2012 at 7:54 pm #1921628I would definitely be interested in a couple of the largest ones… and possibly a larger sheet eventually, if that's possible. Thanks!
Oct 15, 2012 at 9:31 pm #1921658$10.00 36" x 84" (2.91oz) X2
Oct 15, 2012 at 10:03 pm #1921663Largest for me for $25
Oct 15, 2012 at 10:12 pm #1921667Lawson, I'd be interested in:
1 of the 36"x84"but I would like:
2 at 36"x96"Oct 15, 2012 at 10:35 pm #1921670$10.00 36" x 84" (2.91oz) X2 for me.
Oct 16, 2012 at 5:31 am #192169736'x84" for me.
Tyvek may be heavier than the other options, but is also more durable, breathable, stays put better and highly visible.
I found the clear groundcloth materials hard to see in the dark. They bunch up under my bag/quilt from tossing and turning. I'd often end up in the dirt in the middle of the night and not know it.
Oct 16, 2012 at 5:42 am #1921699Interested in the the 36"x84" option.
Oct 16, 2012 at 6:19 am #1921709I'd like to buy 2 of the 36" x 84" ground sheets, Lawson.
Oct 16, 2012 at 6:58 am #1921716I'm in for 2…$10.00 36" x 84" (2.91oz)
Oct 16, 2012 at 7:34 am #1921725I still need to finish a few MYOG projects before I could say which sizes more decisively but I'd for sure take a 60×96 and probably a 24×78 but that might change to 36×84 depending on a few things.
anyway, you can count on me for 2 before xmass.
Oct 16, 2012 at 9:01 am #1921748Count me in for a 60×96
Oct 16, 2012 at 9:02 am #1921750AnonymousInactiveI'll take one of each of these:

$20.00 60" x 120" (6.94oz)Oct 16, 2012 at 10:33 am #1921790I would buy one of the 60×96.
