Im planning a trip in late OCT with my 11 year old daughter. I live in Fayetteville NC and will be returning from a deployment and want to take her hiking. We have done short weekend trips but nothing this long or serious. Ive looked at the Foot hills trail and the Bartram trail, as well as the Bartram AT loop. Anyone have any ideas of easy yet entertaining trips in my area? Ive hiked the Uwharrie trail and she and I will hike that together before we go out on the longer trip.
Any help is appreciated.
