Claiming around 7 ounces. Full zip and pretty well featured. Apparently coming in October. Uses eVent's new so-called air permeable fabric, eVent DVL.

Here's GE's spiel on the new DVL:

…Looks to be a 2.5 layer version of eVent.

Wow. Extremely promising jacket. Looks like a nice long cut/drop tail. Fabric looks amazing for a 7oz coat. Assuming eVent DVL is at least as good or better than regular eVent, this is going to be the one to have. Too bad there's no thumb loops.

The waist hem is a bit confusing. The article says it's one hand adjustable/cinchable via a mechanism inside the pocket, but there doesn't appear to be any lower pockets (just the napolean one) or even shock cord in the waist…..which is fine with me. The fixed length elastic looks well done.

    Good picture:

The Focus LT is now showing as available direct from Westcomb on their site. I called and was told most sizes and colors are currently available, but that a few might be back ordered two weeks.

Their site says available for pre-orders. When I tried to order one, I was given a shipping time of 5-8 weeks.

Well then the guy answering their phone is not very well informed. That sucks. The "preorder" thing on the site is new.
