I came out of MYOG retirement to make this bivy. Zpacks solo floor 1.0 cuben, topped with 2 layer eVent, 0.7 mesh. One Zipper on the chest, and a 32 inch waterproof zipper at the foot for venting. Shoulder/hip girth 72 inches, top/bottom 64 inches. It's getting dark hence the bad picture. Total weight 6.8 oz

Very cool bivy. I'm curious, because I'm thinking about a similar project: what was the weight/yard of your e-vent?

The weight of the eVent was about 1.5 oz/yd

    Thanks Brad!

Wish you could post where you got the eVent.

The eVent came from BPL, when they had the gear shop, as far as I know you can't buy eVent fabric anymore…bummer. I had 2 yards 50 ish inches wide that weighed about 5oz.

You certainly made good use of it.
Can't think of a better app for 1.5 oz eVent.
    Nice job.
