I'm a big thrift store and garage sale kind of guy, and often as I'm browsing I see one or more items that look like (with a bit of hypothetical tweaking) different types of camp stoves. Mostly the item is some kinda lamp or light bulb receptacle thingy. On my most recent yard sale stop I saw a light fixture with two walls that tapered toward and merged at the top (top of the potential stove, that is). Would have been great for woodgas-type experiments, I think, maybe even an alcohol stove, but I decided not to snag it since I'm only in the beginning stages of my own stoveworks adventures and really don't need more clutter than I already have.
