Hey all,
I have 2 weeks off over Christmas and New Years. I'm looking for a place to do a 200-250 mile trip. Some snow is okay, but I don't want to do a massive amount of postholing. I was looking at the grand canyon, but I couldn't find any routes of such a length. I was also thinking about doing a portion of the GET, but the main website advised against traveling in December/January. Does anyone have any recommendations? I'm up for pretty much anything in the US, as long a it'll take 10-12 days.
Thanks!Jul 5, 2012 at 7:30 pm #1892524Hmmm, now I'm thinking a pack rafting trip on the Escalante. Anyone know a good 10-12 day loop? Will the water levels be too low in December?
