Hi all

I will be off-air for a couple of months – July, August and part of September. Sue and I will be in Europe walking the Via Alpina Purple Route, hopefully end-to-end if we can go fast enough. So if anyone notices my absence …

While you're gone, Roger, I'll do everything in my power to set things back on track here at BPL, namely steer the rabble back to your beloved pup tents and away from this blasphemy of "tunnel tents"! ;-^)

Have a safe and wonderful journey, Roger. I wish our summer journeys would pass in the vicinity of each other… it would be great to encounter you on the trail, but alas I'll be way west in the Pyrenees.
