Can anyone tell me about the rip stop nylon that I find at Hancock Fabrics. I have no idea what the weight is, is there a coating, does it matter which side is out etc…
Thanks for the help.
May 31, 2012 at 5:58 pm #1882850Hi: the hancock ripstop fabric is uncoated 1.9 oz nylon. It doesn't matter which side is out, although one side is slightly shinier than the other. It's good stuff for some projects, if a bit heavy. I've made I think 5 hammocks out of the stuff and always hung happily.
