    i have a komperdell, i think its the guide model. the grip screws off so the pole can be used a camera monopod. it has good length but i think you made need some sort of extender if you are using it with a duomid shelter

    tried out the luxurylite.com big stik and it would work for that. even came with a pigsticker. there's also a guy out there makes a hollow walking stick that carries your fishin rod.
