    May I suggest you check out the current views of MSG, Wikipedia having a fair summary?

    For people who seem to be sensitive to it, no argument.  But as a primary care doc I can say that MSG has half the sodium per serving as table salt, and glutamate is in just about everything you eat already.

    There are regulations limiting the amount of potassium that can go into supplements because of worries about a condition that results from overdoing potassium. Which is hard to do. However, NoSalt is almost pure potassium. Check out the ingredients. !/8 tablespoon gives a good, readily digestible shot of potassium to your system. Low salt V-8 also has way more potassium than any of the regular electrolyte drinks.

    So, Salt sticks plus a pinch of Nosalt will go a long way at very little weight.
