Clayton M. and I went for a hike this weekend. Spring camping on snow in the Apgar Range in Glacier NP. The views were outstanding, the travel conditions ranging from good to quite awful. It was a darn good time.

Apr 15, 2012 at 12:21 pm #1867484Thanks for another great post. I particularly enjoyed your thoughts on backpacking as a coping skill. As a habitual solo backpacker, I too need to learn how to share, but have a really hard time giving up my loner ways when opportunities present themselves.
Clayton seems like he'd be a good philosophical match for you. Looking forward to hearing his thoughts on the trip.
