Okay, so I'm about ready to start sewing on my 12' tipi that I posted about not too long ago… http://www.backpackinglight.com/cgi-bin/backpackinglight/forums/thread_display.html?forum_thread_id=61375
Quick question, should I go with ladderlocs and nylon webbing for each of my 16 guy out points or linelocs and cord? I want to make some self tensioners which may be easier to do with the cord. However, I'm sure the webbing is stronger…
Looks like MLD uses linelocs.

Not so sure about something the size of yours … it will catch a lot of wind.
Our scout troop owns two of the large GoLite square mids (10×10 ft) that use 8 webbing/ladderlock guyouts … that works well on those shelters.
