Sunday, May 20TH and a 6:00 AM start time. Get in shape for the upcoming backpacking season! Beer and pizza at my house after the out and back hike to Mt Diablo. My home is 11 1/2 miles to the summit of Mt. Diablo (23 Miles Total). We had an excellent hike back in 2009 and if you have time on your calender, please come and join in on the opportunity to walk with friends and get in great shape. No permit needed just show up at 5:30am and start walking by 6:00am. Afterwards look foward to consuming pizza and home-brewed beer from Jeremy Pendry and Cameron Kennedy. Any questions please ask. Hope all you Bay Area friends can make it.

Count me in!
Here is a link to the hike from 2009 to show you what to expect.
Temperatures should be lower than last year and a good reason to start early.
