Calling all MYOG'rs in the UK. I am going to buy some Rasant 120 thread from this site:

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rasant-120-Three-1000-mtr-Rolls-any-colour-Cotton-covered-poly-core-thread-/160683749074?pt=AU_Sewing&hash=item25697f6ed2

If anyone would like a roll, and to share the costs, then send me a PM. I am based in North Yorkshire. The benefits of Rasant are discussed elsewhere on this forum, such as here:

    http://www.backpackinglight.com/cgi-bin/backpackinglight/forums/thread_display.html?forum_thread_id=25552&startat=20

I can get Rasant 75 from extreme textile, but the 120 in black is proving hard to source. Of course if anyone knows of a source of 120 in England then feel free to post; I've drawn a blank.
    Cheers Matt

I have ordered the rasant today, so I cannot accept any more sub orders through the forum. For those interested, I did not use ebay in the end. Instead I used a german site http://www.fadenversand.de
The price is much the same as on ebay, but I was able to order some other stuff like rasant 75 and schmetz microtex needles. They also sell titanium needles in size 80, which could be good for heavy duty work; I have no knowledge of them myself, so if they're rubbish do say so! Rasant is german made, and widely available in Germany. Many sites ship worldwide, and with a little digging around on google one might well find a site with an english translation. The german site gives my AS level deutsch a good work out.
    Matt
