I have some primaloft one. I know it must be quilted, but I do not know how far apart the quilting needs to be. Does anyone know the distance?
ThanksDec 12, 2011 at 6:14 pm #1811428Seeing if anyone had any insight into this.
Dec 13, 2011 at 7:11 am #1811575Primaloft own recommendations for PL1 are:
3" centres for 60 gsm and 6" for greater than 60gsm.
Clothing I have is quilted in vertical channels rather than squareDec 13, 2011 at 7:23 am #1811579Thank you! I have the 100 g/m variety, so that means I need to go with six. Have you noticed any problems with only having vertical channels? I was thinking about doing just horizontal.
Dec 13, 2011 at 7:47 am #1811583not sure it matters?
My wifes Patagonia micropuff vest is horizontal .
nb they only appear to have the PL quilted to the inner face fabric. the outer faces are loose except at seams…Dec 13, 2011 at 7:53 am #1811584Thank you for your help. When you say quilted do you mean sewn? I have a nano puff from Patagonia and it is sewn through. I don't see any quilting loops.
