Hello,
I am looking at buying a WM Megalite and was curious when and where they go on sale?? Is moosejaw my best bet?? When is there typical sale and where? heh

There are no WM sales going on right now. Be patient and one will pop up soon. Unless you really need the bag for a trip soon, I would wait. I would not pay full price for one when they go on 20% sale it seems 4-5 times a year. When they do go on sale though, have Moosejaw match the price and you get the mj points too.

WM bags do go on sale but it is random and not a regular occurrence. I do see sales but it is mostly at independent retailers and usually not all bags in the line. I just got one on sale at Mel Cottons last month but it wasn't on all bags. 20% is the most I ever see off.

Best place to buy Western Mountaineering (or any brand) when not on sale elsewhere is Moontrail. They have a bonus points deal that generally works out to between 10-20% off, that you can cash in at check out or use towards other gear. Not sure which Megalite you were looking for but the reg. can be had there for $312 ($355 – 43 bonus points) all in :

Unlike many high end down shops (Nunatak, Feathered Friends) that sell only directly (or in FF's case, at its own store), Western Mountaineering has many distributors, on the Internet and retail stores. One of the retail stores in Dallas includes WM in its periodic sales, often at 30% off. Not sure that Nexttag or anyother screen scraper would pick it up, but you might check your local outdoor shops.
