Locale: Homesteading On An Island In The PNW

    Easy Backcountry Fudge:

    In a small ziploc bag:
    1 Tbl walnuts
    1 Tbl powdered sugar

    Also take:
    1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 Tbl peanut butter (1 small packet)

Pour chocolate chips in a pot and cook over very low heat, stirring occasionally. When melted, remove from heat, and mix in peanut butter, walnuts, and sugar. Firms into fudge in about half an hour on cool evenings; makes a gooey treat in warm weather.
Can also be doen a quart freezer bag, carefully floating a well sealed bag in gently simmering water (not boiling!). Follow as above.
